So, for those who don’t know, we got a new trailer for Epic Mickey 2 today!

And, because I have far too much of an obsession with this rabbit, I … sort of took like 23 screencaps of him catching this baby. This is just part 1, there’s gonna be a second post.

But yeah, I just needed to talk about what’s going on here for a moment, if you all don’t mind. (Of course you don’t mind, you follow this blog for a reason, we’re all Oswald fans here.)

First off, holy cow, look at him STRETCHING!!!!! He’s using his 1920s Toon Powers to help catch this baby. Goodness gracious, can I marry whatever animator decided to include that stretch?

Then when he finally grabs hold of the carriage, only to find the baby isn’t inside it anymore, he’s upset at first. Look at his little bunny face, so full of disappointment and worry. But! A little thing like gravity never stopped our lucky rabbit, so he immediately goes back to being determined to save the little one. He leaves the carriage behind and zooms off after the falling child.

BEST PART Oswald utilizing his whole squash and stretchiness had me squealing like a dork eeeeeeeee
